Physiological Plateaus Terminology

Let's have a discussion about how physiological plateaus are called - and perhaps, how they should be called! Hundreds of different terms co-exist and each language has their own terminology. Currently, physiological plateaus are not quite yet 'accepted knowledge' in maternity care, but shared language can change that! Any thoughts on physiological plateaus terminology are most welcome here...
